Community Involvement

Lamrocks Solicitors has played an active role in the Penrith-Nepean community for over 100 years. As one of only two foundation members and Patrons of the Penrith Chamber of Commerce, the firm is proud of its long-term commitment to, and support of, the local business community.

Directors Steve Groves and Arthur Fogarty are longstanding members of the Penrith Valley Chamber of Commerce and regularly attend Chamber events and functions.  They are pictured here with Peter McGee, President of the Chamber and Matthew Freeburn receiving their recognition as Patrons of the organisation. 

  • Nepean Medical Research Foundation

    Lamrocks Solicitors supports the Nepean Medical Research Foundation as one of the 25 founding members of the Nepean Philanthropists whose aim is to provide recurrent funding for medical research in the local region.  

  • Penrith Small Business Network

    The Penrith Small Business Network is an initiative of the Penrith Valley Business Enterprise Centre and has been established to encourage owners and managers of home based and small businesses (up to 3 employees) to network with likeminded business owners. Networking events are held once a month with the view to assisting businesses grow and succeed whilst making new business relationships and having fun. Lamrocks is proud to be associated with the Network and in addition to being a major sponsor, we are an active member of their committee.

  • Women with Altitude

    Lamrocks Solicitors is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of Women with Altitude (WWA), a networking forum for women in business from the Penrith-Nepean region, the Hawkesbury and the Blue Mountains.   • Supporting business, community and not-for-profit organisations

    Today, the firm continues to support the local region through membership of the Chamber of Commerce, attendance at various local networking forums such as Gen YQ, and by providing support to not-for-profit organisations such as Anglicare, The Salvation Army and the University of the Third Age which is a worldwide, non-profit educational resource for seniors 50 years and over.

    In addition to these more formal programs, solicitors from Lamrocks also make regular visits and give presentations to local nursing homes, hospitals and community centres.
